I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I agree with everything you wrote. What does it mean to hold space for our own grief while still living our everyday lives? All I can say is hold onto your memories and the only way through grief is to grieve. It looks different for each person. sending my love.

Beautiful, important reflections. I've been really wrestling with the pace of life recently and wondering when it all became so relentless. I also have lived at a much slower pace in the past. I wonder if it's having kids or if it's the last gasps of capitalism. I'm so sorry your mama died. I'm sure nothing can truly ever prepare you for that loss.I wish the world were different and you could have your time to grieve.

I'm very sorry for your loss. May your mother's memory be a blessing. And may we create the world we deserve, where grief is honored and cherished.

Sending you so much love Kel. It truly is a messed up world where we find ourselves deprioritising or at the very least doubting whether it’s right to prioritise the most important things. I hope you have time and space to grieve.

I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. I'm sending you comfort in the enormous grief. <3 And thank you for your reflections on navigating something like this alongside wage labor. I really feel the weight of that, and it's just....not okay. </3
